1. ORGANIZZAZIONE
L’International Imago Film Festival è organizzato da IMAGO e si svolge nel territorio del comune di Teramo.
2. ISCRIZIONI
Sono ammessi alla selezione ufficiale lungometraggi di finzione di nazionalità sia italiana sia estera della durata minima di 60 minuti.
L’iscrizione delle opere è gratuita.
Possono essere iscritti fuori concorso anche cortometraggi e documentari i quali, insieme i lungometraggi, potranno partecipare alla premiazione mensile.
3. DATA E DURATA
La Quinta edizione dell’International IMAGO Film Festival si svolgerà a Teramo dal 27 luglio al 3 agosto 2026.
4. SEZIONI DEL FESTIVAL
Il festival si suddivide nelle seguenti categorie:
– Concorso per Lungometraggi di finzione italiani;
– Concorso per Lungometraggi di finzione internazionali;
5. SELEZIONE UFFICIALE
Sono ammessi alla selezione lungometraggi di finzione italiani e internazionali.
La selezione delle opere si compie a cura e secondo valutazione insindacabile della Direzione del Festival.
La Direzione del Festival si riserva il diritto di inserire fuori concorso:
– opere candidatesi ma non selezionate per la competizione;
– opere diverse per tipologia e durata dai lungometraggi.
5.1 Apertura e chiusura delle iscrizioni.
Le Iscrizioni delle opere alla selezione per la terza edizione dell’International Imago Film Festival si aprono il 3 dicembre 2025 e si chiudono il 30 aprile 2026.
5.2 Condizioni di ammissione alla selezione.
Le opere, per esser ammesse alla selezione, devono essere state prodotte a partire dal 01/01/2020.
5.3 Modalità di selezione.
La Direzione si riserva il diritto di rifiutare copie che, al controllo dei tecnici del Festival, risultino inadeguate per una proiezione di qualità.
I titolari dei diritti di distribuzione, per iscrivere le opere, devono compilare e firmare l’apposito modulo di iscrizione presente sul sito alla voce modulo di iscrizione entro e non oltre il 30 aprile 2026.
I referenti delle opere selezionate saranno contattati dalla Direzione almeno quindici giorni prima dell’apertura del Festival. A coloro che saranno selezionati verrà richiesto l’invio di una o più copie dell’opera, con spese a carico del mittente.
5.4 Iscrizione delle opere.
La domanda d’iscrizione al Festival deve essere inoltrata attraverso la piattaforma FilmFreeway www.filmfreeway.com
5.5 Materiali da inviare per la selezione. Per essere ammessi alla prima selezione è necessario che i titolari forniscano un link streaming (con password), come previsto dal modulo d’iscrizione.
Infine, per i finalisti, occorrerà inviare almeno tre foto del film in alta qualità, il trailer e la locandina.
5.6 Proiezione dei film.
Le opere selezionate saranno proiettate nei giorni di svolgimento del festival e sarà cura dell’organizzazione fornire tutti i dettagli a riguardo.
I film stranieri saranno proiettati in versione originale con sottotitoli in italiano/inglese. Per i film recitati in lingue diverse dall’inglese, i referenti dovranno fornire al festival una copia sottotitolata in inglese.
La Direzione del Festival curerà il catalogo delle opere selezionate.
I film selezionati verranno proiettati a titolo gratuito. Pertanto, non sono previste fee di proiezione.
6. GIURIA
La giuria sarà composta da qualificati esperti del settore e assegnerà i seguenti premi:
“Premio Amarcord” al miglior film italiano;
“Premio Casablanca” al miglior film straniero;
“Premio Sergio Leone” alla migliore regia di film italiano;
“Premio Stanley Kubrick” alla migliore regia di film straniero;
“Premio Tonino Guerra” alla miglior sceneggiatura italiana;
“Premio Billy Wilder” alla miglior sceneggiatura straniera;
“Premio Vittorio Gassman” al miglior attore protagonista di film italiano;
“Premio Humphrey Bogart” al miglior attore protagonista di film straniero;
“Premio Monica Vitti” alla miglior attrice protagonista italiana;
“Premio Lauren Bacall” alla miglior attrice protagonista di film straniero;
“Premio Tonino Delli Colli” alla miglior fotografia;
“Premio Burt Bacharach” alla miglior colonna sonora originale.
La giuria, inoltre, a suo insindacabile giudizio e non necessariamente, può assegnare anche i seguenti premi:
Miglior attore non protagonista italiano; Miglior attore non protagonista straniero; Miglior attrice non protagonista italiana; Miglior attrice non protagonista straniera; Migliore scenografia; Migliori costumi.
PREMIO SPECIALE “Il diritto alla felicità” da assegnare a personalità del mondo dell’arte, dello spettacolo e della cultura che si siano distinti per il loro impegno nel sociale.
PREMIO SPECIALE “Siamo tutti farfalle” che sarà assegnato a un’opera i cui contenuti sapranno sensibilizzare il pubblico alle problematiche ambientali. Il medesimo premio potrà anche essere consegnato a un artista impegnato attivamente a favore dell’ambiente.
I Premi verranno consegnati il giorno 3 Agosto 2026 in Piazza Martiri della Libertà a Teramo. Qualora il rappresentante del film in gara non fosse disponibile a presenziare alla Cerimonia potrà suggerire all’Organizzazione un delegato per il ritiro.
I premi non ritirati durante la Cerimonia potranno essere spediti. Le spese di spedizione sono a carico del richiedente.
7. PREMIO OPERA CINEMATOGRAFICA DEL MESE
Per rispondere alla platea sempre più numerosa degli iscritti, la Direzione ha stabilito che tra tutte le opere, indipendentemente dalla loro durata, sarà proclamato un vincitore mensile a cui sarà assegnato il premio “Opera cinematografica del mese”. Le nomination verranno svelate, a mezzo social, il giorno 5 del mese successivo. Il vincitore verrà annunciato, a mezzo social, il giorno 15 del mese successivo.
8. OBBLIGHI DI PROMOZIONE
Ogni forma di promozione dell’opera successiva alla pubblicazione del programma da parte del Festival dovrà, per impegno espresso dai titolari dell’opera, indicare la partecipazione all’International Imago Film Festival con il logo ufficiale fornito da IMAGO.
Le opere vincitrici di premi dovranno citare inoltre il riconoscimento ricevuto secondo la grafica ufficiale disposta e fornita da IMAGO.
9. NORMATIVA GENERALE
La richiesta d’ammissione e, successivamente, la partecipazione al Festival implica la previa accettazione incondizionata del presente Regolamento.
La Direzione del Festival si riserva di prendere decisione autonome riguardanti questioni non previste dal Regolamento.
Le spese di spedizione sono sempre a carico dei partecipanti. Le copie pervenute non verranno restituite.
La IMAGO assicura la massima serietà nel rispettare la normativa internazionale in materia di diritto d’autore.
1. ORGANIZATION
The International Imago Film Festival is organized by IMAGO and takes place in the municipality of Teramo.
2. REGISTRATION
The official selection of fiction feature films of both Italian and foreign nationality is admitted for a minimum duration of 60 minutes.
The registration of the works is free.
Short films and documentaries may also be entered out of competition. These, along with feature films, will be eligible for the monthly award.
3. DATE AND DURATION
The fourth edition of the International IMAGO Film Festival will take place in Teramo from 27 July to 3 August 2026.
4. SECTIONS OF THE FESTIVAL
The festival is divided into the following categories:
– Competition for Italian fiction feature films;
– Competition for international fiction feature films;
5. OFFICIAL SELECTION
They are admitted to the selection of Italian and international fiction feature films.
The selection of the works is carried out by and according to the unquestionable evaluation of the Festival Management.
The Festival Management reserves the right to insert out of competition:
– works nominated but not selected for the competition;
– works differing in type and duration from feature films.
5.1 Opening and closing of registrations.
Entries for the selection for the third edition of International Imago Film Festival open on 3 December 2025 and close on 30 April 2026.
5.2 Conditions of admission to selection.
The works, to be admitted to the selection, must have been produced from 01/01/2020.
5.3 Selection mode.
The Management reserves the right to refuse copies that, to the control of the technicians of the Festival, are inadequate for a quality screening.
The holders of distribution rights, to register the works, must fill in and sign the appropriate registration form on the site under the registration form no later than 30 April 2026.
The references of the selected works will be contacted by the Management at least fifteen days before the opening of the Festival. Those who will be selected will be asked to send one or more copies of the work, at the expense of the sender.
5.4 Registration of works.
The application form must be submitted through the FilmFreeway platform (www.filmfreeway.com).
5.5 Materials to be sent for selection.
To be admitted to the first selection it is necessary that the owners provide a streaming link (with password), as required by the registration form.
Finally, for the finalists, you will need to send at least three photos of the film in high quality, the trailer and the poster.
5.6 Screening of films.
The selected works will be screened in the days of the festival and the organization will provide all the details.
Foreign films will be screened in the original version with Italian subtitles. For films starring in languages other than English, the participant must provide the festival with a copy subtitled in English.
The Festival Management will edit the catalogue of the selected works.
The selected films will be screened free of charge. Therefore, no screening fees will be provided.
6. JURY
The jury will be composed of qualified industry experts and will award the following prizes:
“Amarcord Award” for the best Italian film;
“Casablanca Prize” for the best foreign film;
“Sergio Leone Aword” for the best Italian film director;
“Stanley Kubrick Award” for best foreign film direction;
“Tonino Guerra Aword”” for the best Italian screenplay;
“Billy Wilder Award” for Best Foreign Screenplay;
“Vittorio Gassman Award” for Best Italian Film Actor;
“Humphrey Bogart Award” to the best actor in a foreign film;
“Monica Vitti Award” for the best Italian actress;
“Lauren Bacall Award” for Best Actress in a Foreign Language Film;
“Tonino Delli Colli Aword”” for the best photography;
“Burt Bacharach Award” for the best original soundtrack.
The jury, moreover, at its sole discretion and not necessarily, can also award the following prizes:
Best Italian supporting actor; Best foreign supporting actor; Best Italian supporting actress; Best foreign supporting actress; Best set design; Best costumes.
SPECIAL AWARD “The right to happiness” to be awarded to personalities from the world of art, entertainment and culture who have distinguished themselves for their commitment to social.
SPECIAL AWARD ‘We are all butterflies’, which will be awarded to a work whose content will raise public awareness of environmental issues. The same award may also be given to an artist actively engaged in environmental causes.
The Awards will be presented on August 3rd, 2026 in Piazza Martiri della Libertà in Teramo. Should the representative of the competing film be unable to attend the Ceremony, they may designate a delegate to collect the award on their behalf.
Any awards not collected during the Ceremony may be shipped. Shipping costs are the responsibility of the requester.
7. MONTHLY AWARD
To accommodate the growing number of entrants, the Board has decided that a monthly winner will be announced and awarded a “Monthly Award”, selected from all submissions regardless of their length.
The nominations will be revealed on social media on the 5th of the following month. The winner will be announced on social media on the 15th of the following month.
8. PROMOTION OBLIGATIONS
Any form of promotion of the work following the publication of the program by the Festival must, by commitment expressed by the owners of the work, indicate the participation in the International Imago Film Festival with the official logo provided by IMAGO.
The winning works must also mention the recognition received according to the official graphics arranged and provided by IMAGO.
9. GENERAL RULES
The request for admission and, subsequently, participation in the Festival implies the prior unconditional acceptance of these Regulations.
The Festival Management reserves the right to take autonomous decisions regarding matters not provided for by the Regulations.
Shipping costs are always borne by the participants. Copies received will not be returned.
